Updated: Oct 27, 2020
If you are anywhere near as passionate about road trips as me, Muskoka and Parry Sound are worth dropping by for a day or two and they are fairly close to one another.
Here are a couple of notable spots to see for a weekend trip up North Ontario.
Day 1 mostly in Muskoka
Walk around Muskoka Steamships.
185 Cherokee Lane, Gravenhurst, ON, P1P 1G7
Hint: There are some shops around the wharf if you want to hunt down a souvenir.

Tour and sample at Muskoka Brewery.
1964 Muskoka Beach Rd, Bracebridge, P1P 1R1

Sample a hot or cold brew at Muskoka Roastery Coffee Co.
8 Crescent Rd, Huntsville, P1P 1R1

Walk around Screaming Heads.
925-1201 Midlothian Rd, Burk's Falls, P0A 1C0
Very gram-able. The owner brought us for a tour and showed us his small animal farm onsite as well. They have cool merch to purchase to support them since there is no cost to admission.

Eat dinner at Maurizio's Pizzeria.
97A Bowes Street, Parry Sound, P2A 2L8

For the pineapple-on-pizza lovers out there. There is truly something for everyone.

Day 2 in Parry Sound
Board the Chippewa III.
Sequin River Parkette, 20 McIsaac Way, Parry Sound, ON, P2A 1S3
Note: You need to pre-purchase cruise tickets.

Eat lunch at Craganmor Island Restaurant, which the cruise will drop you off at.
Fish and chips anyone?

Visit the Tower Hill Heritage Garden.
