Travel Itinerary to Niagara Falls

Updated: Oct 27, 2020

This itinerary is for the summer season and I stayed around the Clifton Hills area.

Be mesmerized by butterflies at Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory.

2565 Niagara Parkway, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, L0S 1J0

Take a stroll through Niagara Parks Botanical Garden.

The garden is right outside the butterfly conservatory and there is no cost to this.

Check out the Floral Clock.

14004 Niagara Parkway, Queenston, ON, L0S 1L0

Free activity and the clock chimes every quarter hour.

Peruse the Niagara Falls History Museum.

5810 Ferry Street, Niagara Falls, ON, L2G 1S9

Admission is only $5 per adult which is a steal.

Tip: There is a history section where you can pick up a model of the weapon to see how heavy it is and an art gallery side for the art lovers.

Make sure to drop by the falls to experience the mist.

Eat dinner at Sandstone Grillhouse.

5467 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, ON, L2G 3L3

I didn't really enjoy the chicken cordon bleu as it felt very dry, but the steak with lobster tail was decent. It was quite a filling meal.

Play a round at Strike Rock 'N Bowl.

Ride the Skywheel.

I would buy tickets first as there can be a line-up. The bowling place was close by so it was a nice activity while waiting. I prefer to ride at night as the view with all the night lights is quite pretty.

You can watch fireworks by the falls if it's Canada Day.
